Day 1
DAY 1: IXB Airport – Phuentsholing

(Distance: 170 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs./ Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts). Meet & greet on arrival at NJP railway station / IXB airport and transfer to Phuentsholing - The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center

Day 2
DAY 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu
Immigration formalities Transfer to Thimphu

After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong (fortress on the northern edge of the city Thimpu). Overnight stay at Thimphu

Day 3
DAY 3: Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang which houses the gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue, National Memorial Chorten (monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit to Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre (Takin is the national animal of Bhutan and it can be seen here), Tashichho Dzong (another popular Buddhist monument and fortress situated on the western banks of the river Wang Chu). Overnight stay at Thimphu

Day 4
Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha Sightseeing – Paro
Thimphu-Punakha-Paro (Party)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha (4300ft.) via Dochula-Pass (10,170ft). Continue towards Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility built in the 15th century and visit Punakha Dzong too On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening will be free for leisure activities Overnight stay at Paro

Day 5
Day 5: Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast, hike to Taktsang - Tiger’s Nest Monastery which is Bhutan‘s most sacred monastery situated at 3180 meters. It is said that in the 8th century, Guru Rimpoche, the great spiritual master flew on the back of a tiger and came to meditate in a cave where Taktsang monastery stands today. The monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro valley Overnight at Paro

Day 06: Excursion to Chele-La Pass

After breakfast, excursion to Chele-La-Pass (13,088ft), the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty Back to Paro, rest of the day is free for leisure Overnight stay at Paro

Day 7
Day 07: Paro - Phuentsholing (200kms/7hrs)
Long Drive Party

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing On arrival check in at hotel Overnight at Phuentsholing

Day 8
Day 08: Phuentsholing - IXB Airport (170kms/4hrs)

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • Booking amount & Tickets: (Non Refundable)
  • 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 45 days prior to arrival: 70% of the Tour / service cost
  • 30 days prior to arrival: No Refund

Please be aware that during your participation in vacations operated by Jugni, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft, or other means of transportation; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Jugni will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. While Jugni will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken, by agreeing to participate in a vacation and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold Jugni harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. Jugni is not responsible for such risks and dangers that may arise beyond our control. Payment of your deposit indicates you accept these risks and dangers and agree to hold Jugni harmless for the same.
